MOBIA is currently recruiting an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. With a passion for technology and customer service, you will be an integral part of a customer-focused team with great attention to detail and respect for a job well done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with our Solutions Architects, Delivery Teams, and Account Managers to design solutions for customers.
- Working with Account Managers to assist in RFP (Request for Proposals) responses and quotes for tenders.
- Conducting post-sales customer care as needed.
- Working closely with vendor partners to complete deal registrations, track rebates, and support ongoing marketing campaigns or other incentive programs.
- Continuously interact with your customers to discuss key business challenges and opportunities, and to arrange events/meetings in conjunction with our Account Managers.
- Attend sales calls with Account Managers to support them in moving new business forward.
- Completing CRM updates to ensure account and opportunity information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Advocating for MOBIA, our clients and our partners; always representing with the highest ethics and standards of conduct.
- Other duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an Inside Sales role within an IT/tech environment. Experience working with the following vendors is considered an asset: AWS, Microsoft, Google, HPE, Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, TrendMicro, and Palo Alto.
- Strong understanding of the distribution, purchasing, pricing and discount process.
- Post-secondary education; Degree or Diploma in IT, Business, Marketing or Public Relations.
- Able and interested in working hours that would support our operations in Western Canada (11 am – 7 pm; some flexibility may be accommodated).
- Previous experience with enterprise IT solutions: data centre, cloud, big data, storage, networking, and security would be considered an asset.
- Experience using CRM systems. Experience with SAP would be considered an asset.
- Understanding of hardware/software renewal contracts.
- Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project, and the ability to learn new systems and software programs.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to interface with Logistics, Procurement, and Finance.
- Energetic and positive personality and a keen interest in learning new things.
- Strong technical aptitude: ability to understand and decipher tech language for your customers.
- Customer service orientation: you enjoy assisting others to achieve team successes.
- Bilingual in English and French would be great but is not a requirement.
- Team player.
