Position Summary

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Join our dynamic team as an Inside Sales Representative, where you'll play a key role in driving sales of our complete portfolio of products - including instrumentation for pressure, temperature, gas, flow, water leak detection and laboratory service capabilities. You will be a key point of contact for customers, whether over the phone, by email or in person, providing expert advise and tailored solutions that meet their needs. Your responsibilities will include finding new leads and developing and securing sales opportunities with new and existing customers. Our territory includes all of Canada, and will require some travel across Canada to attend trade-shows, and internationally for product training. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new leads and prospects through research, contacting potential new clients daily
  • Work with customers, to provide quotes and process orders to meet customer needs
  • Work closely with manufacturers to follow up on leads
  • Maintain sales data in Cameron Instruments CRM system to track opportunities, customer information, schedule and organize sales visits, provide onsite demos, etc
  • Work diligently to close sales opportunities by understand customer needs and concerns, presenting customized solutions, and timely follow up.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers providing exceptional service ongoing communications, and regular updates on market conditions (pricing, lead time).
  • Provides input to Sales & Marketing team on trends, potential new markets & products, and creative ways to address customer needs/promote the company
  • Attend industry conferences and events to promote Cameron Instruments products, identify new leads and monitor industry/market trends and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a B2B technology sales role in Canadian markets with demonstrated success in achieving/exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Building rapport and effectively communicating product information.
  • Sales and negotiation Skills, closing deals
  • Organization and Follow-ups: Maintaining accurate records and following up on leads
  • Problem Solving - addressing customer needs and ensuring satisfaction
  • Proactive, independent learner and self starter
  • Exceptional phone and email skills. Strong English skills required, French an asset
  • Prior experience in the metrology industry strongly preferred
  • Valid drivers' license and passport
  • Ability to travel within Canada and Internationally.
