Job description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for NOV Hydra Rig’s Capital Sales, aiming to reach and surpass sales goals. This individual should have knowledge of Coiled Tubing and Nitrogen equipment, excellent computer skills, and be personable and outgoing, as they will interact directly with clients. Based in Calgary, Alberta, this position reports to the Inside Sales Director and collaborates with the capital sales team.

Responsibilities
  1. Discuss product/service features and benefits with customers.
  2. Prepare customer quotations and technical specifications.
  3. Receive and process orders via phone, email, or in person.
  4. Resolve customer issues effectively as they arise.
  5. Enter new customer data and update existing accounts in CRM.
  6. Support and foster communication within the sales organization using CRM, calls, and meetings.
  7. Coordinate customer orders with Engineering, Production, and Service Departments.
  8. Assist with customer visits and schedule coordination.
  9. Follow all company and corporate policies, including safety and environmental requirements.
  10. Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows and events as needed.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • At least 1 year of sales-related experience and/or 3 years in field or manufacturing roles.
  • Detailed knowledge of Coiled Tubing and Nitrogen equipment.
Skills
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • AutoCAD / SolidWorks experience is an asset.
  • Customer focus, integrity, trust, and drive for results.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
