Overview

A Canadian leader in utility safety and electrical distribution products is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to join its growing teams in Edmonton and Surrey. Joining the team means being part of a dynamic sales environment where you'll play a key role in supporting customers with technical product information, pricing, delivery, service, and solutions. You’ll also contribute to strengthening relationships with both existing accounts and new prospects, ensuring that customers experience the value of working with one of Canada's most trusted utility suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests regarding technical information, pricing, product availability, and services.
  • Support outside sales with quotes, orders, inventory checks, and customer follow-ups.
  • Proactively upsell and cross-sell customer requirements while identifying opportunities to convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Shipping, and vendor partners to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve order challenges, and provide alternative solutions.
  • Contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven sales and customer service experience within the power utility, electrical products, or distribution supply chain industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with a professional and approachable telephone manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accuracy in order entry and administrative support.
  • Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer care.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and online systems; experience with MS Dynamics NAV is an asset.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of inside sales experience in the power utility, electrical products, or related distribution industry.
