ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Inside Sales / Rental Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of inside sales to customers that enter the dealership, as well as the rental counter. The operations requirements of this role include handling incoming rental inquiries and maximizing fleet utilization by managing available and incoming rental units.

Other job duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Being an initial point of contact for customers.
  • Assisting, and building sales for customers whom which enter the dealership.
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers\' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers\' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Closing sales and following up with customers.
  • Managing rental operations ensuring correct, accurate billing, as well as correct product availability and delivery.
  • Ensuring all rental problems listed by customers are addressed according to company policy.
  • Maintaining a positive company / customer relationship.
  • Administering and maintaining adequate, neat, clean, and safe rental area, equipment, yard, and units.
  • Developing and maintaining competent product knowledge of all current units rented.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1 – 2 years’ customer service experience with a history of exceeding customer’s expectations.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract.
  • Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of CDK software considered an asset.
