JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES OF INSIDE SALES EXECUTIVE for ELECTRONICS
Responsibilities
- Do all the RFQs of Electronics
- Send out RFQs to respective PMs & Buyers
- Monitor the status of all the quoted items
- Follow up closely those quoted items on which projects are currently running. Provide update on a weekly basis
- Monitor those awarded parts if we are receiving orders or not based on the forecast given by customers. Provide update on a weekly basis
- Provide update on the status of the bidding projects every end of the month
- Engage in cold-calling to customers
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Engineer, for further development and closure
- Responsible to close sales deals and achieve customer satisfaction
- Maintain/Update the database/master list of Quote Monitoring
- Keep track of the NBOs, provide update every week
- Follow up orders
- Visit customers together with Sales In-charge at least once a month
- Handle some small customers
- Work to achieve set goals and targets in accordance to KPI
- Other tasks may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Minimum Higher Secondary / Pre-U / ‘A’ Level / Professional Certificate or equivalent
- Preferably with 2-3 years experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service in Electronics industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in oral and written communication.
- Able to communicate effectively in English & Mandarin to liaise with Chinese suppliers/vendors
- Attends to customer’s inquiries and concerns
- Substantial training and guidance will be given.
