Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative

Our client, established over 50 years ago as a regional manufacturer and distributor of industrial gaskets and fluid containment products, has expanded its facilities to meet increased demand from the oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, and pulp and paper industries. They are recognized as a leader in solving fluid containment and control problems.

Customer Service Representative

Reporting to the Customer Service Leader, the CSR handles all external and internal customer interactions professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction. The role supports the organization’s marketing and sales goals. Responsibilities include:

  1. Respond promptly to customer requests with enthusiasm and urgency.
  2. Provide accurate information about products and services.
  3. Follow pricing models and ensure quotes meet company standards and strategies.
  4. Enter customer orders into the ERP system accurately and promptly.
  5. Reply to quotation requests and follow up proactively to increase sales.
  6. Coordinate with outside sales reps on customer issues and requests, fostering teamwork.
  7. Execute CS processes effectively, including quotes, contracts, and delivery coordination.
  8. Adhere to company policies and quality assurance procedures.
  9. Communicate effectively with manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse, and administrative staff to complete transactions accurately and on time.
  10. Prioritize key accounts while maintaining service levels for all customers.
  11. Use time efficiently to meet work expectations.
  12. Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest new ideas.
  13. Maintain professionalism and a tidy work environment.
  14. Take responsibility for personal training and embrace new challenges.
  15. Implement corrective and preventive actions based on customer feedback as part of the quality program.
