About The Position

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Regina. The Inside Sales Associate will work co-operatively with the Branch Manager, Outside Sales Team, and Warehouse personnel to grow existing customers, generate new customers, and meet or exceed sales targets while increasing customer satisfaction.

The Inside Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.

Duties

  • Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior candidate experience improve ECCO’s employer brand in the market.
  • Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees.
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions, by setting a good example, and by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work.
  • Handle telephone sales calls professionally, courteously, and as efficiently as possible.
  • Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction; as well as assist with quotes and pricing of jobs when needed.
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, upselling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
  • Assist in trade shows offered by ECCO Supply or suppliers.
  • Forward sales lead to Outside Sales Representative for follow-up.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales data base with pricing and specifications.
  • Co-ordinate all shipping with Branch Manager, ensuring backorders are checked and any special instructions are followed.
  • Participate in yearly inventory count.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

About The Ideal Candidate

  • 2+ years in HVAC industry, demonstrating sales acumen with sales experience.
  • Be able to deal intelligently with residential and small commercial duct systems and sheet metal fittings.
  • Be up to date on residential heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
  • Have a positive, professional and friendly attitude to both fellow co-workers and customers.
  • Must be willing to attend educational courses to supplement their existing professional experience for a period deemed suitable by management.
  • Excellent communication skills; high energy, enthusiastic with proven people skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize is critical.
  • Work with a high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity.
