Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and sales requests with quotes, pricing, delivery, and technical information.
• Enter customer orders and change orders promptly, coordinating with departments and vendors.
• Proactively communicate changes affecting customers or internal teams.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and build relationships.
• Resolve customer issues professionally using available resources.
• Adhere to pricing policies and manage freight recovery where applicable.
• Regularly inform ISM and other personnel about performance, complaints, inquiries, and market conditions.

We are looking for a motivated person to work as an Inside Sales representative for our Winnipeg, MB branch.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Your Activities Will Include:

• Responding to all communication methods used by customers and outside sales to generate quotes, providing accurate price, delivery, and technical information upon request.
• Entering customer orders and change orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner, communicating with all departments and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Being proactive in communicating all changes that may impact customers or internal teams.
• Interacting effectively with customers to develop a personal awareness of their needs.
• Working in a professional manner to resolve customer's problems and issues, using all available resources.
• Adhering to pricing policies as established by sales management; to include freight recovery, using sell matrices and contracts as applicable.
• Communicating regularly and timely with the ISM and any other personnel regarding performance, complaints, inquiries, competitive activities, problems, market conditions or other pertinent information.
• Informing all customers and prospects of established terms and conditions of sale.
• Assuring all adjustments, product returns, credits and other pertinent dealings are performed accurately and timely with proper documentation.
• Processing credit requests, rebates and maintaining office files.
• Maintaining inventory records and quality control practices.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Direct experience in inside sales in technical or industrial setting and products
• Background in warehouse practices
• Computer literate with good data entry skills and ability to learn new programs quickly and efficiently.
