We are looking for an Inside Presales Security Expert to work closely with an Inside Channel Sales Representative in a defined territory. The main mission of the Inside Presales Security Expert is to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.
Responsibilities :
- Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
- Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer and partner on issues ranging from features, specifications, and functionality to integration.
- Be conversant with networking applications and solutions.
- Post-sales - act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues, working closely with the technical support team to resolve customer issues.
- Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
Required Skills :
- 3 years’ experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
- 3 years’ experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
- Solid understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus.
- Understanding of protocols and technologies like RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- The role requires regular travel outside of the office to engage in sales activities.
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree is favorable.
