Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an Inside Presales Security Expert to work closely with an Inside Channel Sales Representative in a defined territory. The main mission of the Inside Presales Security Expert is to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Responsibilities :
  1. Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  2. Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer and partner on issues ranging from features, specifications, and functionality to integration.
  3. Be conversant with networking applications and solutions.
  4. Post-sales - act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues, working closely with the technical support team to resolve customer issues.
  5. Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
Required Skills :
  1. 3 years’ experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  2. 3 years’ experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  3. Solid understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
  4. Knowledge of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus.
  5. Understanding of protocols and technologies like RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
  6. Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
  7. Excellent presentation skills.
  8. The role requires regular travel outside of the office to engage in sales activities.
Education :
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree is favorable.
