Job summary

Westburne Electric, part of Rexel Canada, is seeking an Inside Automation Proposal Specialist in Calgary, AB. You will promote and support Rockwell Automation products while delivering exceptional service to national customers.

You will collaborate with the sales team, prepare quotes and orders in Dynamics 365, provide technical recommendations for automation projects, and build lasting relationships with customers across industries. Travel within Canada is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in industrial automation, electrical distribution, or control systems.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales team with Rockwell Automation and partner products.
• Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers in automation fields.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and help select suitable solutions.
• Obtain orders/quotation requests through Dynamics 365 and inside sales.
• Follow up on quotations to secure orders or reasons for loss of order.
• Stay updated on industry trends and automation technologies.

Westburne Electric is a leading distributor of electrical and automation solutions across Canada. We are looking for an Inside Automation Proposal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and supporting Rockwell Automation products while providing exceptional customer service to our National Customers.

What You Will Do

• Support our Specialist and Sales team with Rockwell Automation and Encompassing partner products.
• Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers in the electrical, electronics, and instrumentation fields.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their automation needs.
• Obtain orders/quotation requests through Dynamics 365, telephone calls, inside sales team.
• Follow up on written quotations to secure orders or reason for loss of order.
• Maintain system backorder report.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging automation technologies.

What You Bring

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in industrial automation, electrical distribution, or control systems is an asset.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products is highly preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer needs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to travel
