Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Physiotherapist to join the Allied Health team at West Park Healthcare Centre in Toronto. This temporary full-time role supports inpatient populations with musculoskeletal, amputee, stroke, geriatric, and complex continuing care needs.

Responsibilities include patient education, assessment, treatment planning, and contributing to clinical documentation. The role involves supervision of students, participation in rounds, and coverage across the

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
• Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• ADP Authorizer (preferred).
• Probation period requires 80% on FIM certification if working in certain units.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical rehab CCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients, assess and treat, and share knowledge with families and team.
• Maintain strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Collaborate across disciplines and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Evaluate disciplinary history as part of qualifications.
• Ensure patient and staff safety; design and adapt treatment plans.
• Participate in committees and contribute to service planning and documentation.
• Supervise students and volunteers; assist in student education.
• Engage in inter-professional rounds and clinical evaluations.
