Job summary

McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks an experienced Manager, Innovation to lead business and technology initiatives across the firm’s Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver offices. You will drive digital transformation, manage projects from planning through implementation, and support training and change management activities in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in the field, expertise with legal innovation tools, and a strong track record delivering projects using Agile,

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with legal innovation tools and technology-enabled business solutions.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual English/French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform development and process improvement initiatives.
• Gather requirements, document user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing activities for platforms like ServiceNow, Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Kontent.ai.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and user guides.
• Lead change management and adoption activities for new tools and processes.
• Provide training and ongoing support for business applications and innovation tools.
