Responsibilities

• Within the continuous improvement engineering team, you will work on multiple projects related to operations, including manufacturing, hygiene, quality and maintenance.
• Collect and analyze data following a structured methodology (DMAIC) in order to implement sustainable improvements in all aspects of operations.
• Within a multidisciplinary team, the continuous improvement engineer will support the planning and execution of key continuous improvement projects under the direction of the continuous improvement engineering team leader.
• Supporting the commissioning activities of new equipment and new production lines.
• Create an environment conducive to continuous improvement and lean production.
• Conduct training sessions for multiple teams, including production, hygiene, quality and maintenance.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and completing projects to enable them to bear fruit.
• Ensure that the work environment is always safe.

Requirements

• Post-secondary engineering education with a GPA of 3.5+ out of 4.0.
• Bright, motivated, and aware of their future career goals.
• Ability to learn quickly, be ambitious, and propose new and innovative ideas.
• Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
• You work well in a team-based environment and you support it.
• A "roll up your sleeves" mentality with a "whatever it takes" mindset to get the job done.
