Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Test Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for our Oracle ERP Cloud Financials implementation, ensuring that the system meets the business requirements and is free from defects. The Test Lead will work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and vendors to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial modules.
• Lead the testing efforts, including executing test cases, identifying defects, and reporting defects to the development team.
• Defect Management: Manage defects, including tracking, reporting, and ensuring that defects are resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the test environment is properly set up and maintained, including data setup, security, and access controls.
• Work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that testing is aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and work with the automation team to develop automated test scripts.
• Provide regular test status reports to the project manager and stakeholders, including test results, defect status, and recommendations for improvement.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, including identifying best practices and implementing process improvements.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Oracle ERP Cloud Financials: 2+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial modules.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading testing teams, including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Oracle ERP Cloud Financials certification, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE), is a plus.
