In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. As an Associate SAP Package Specialist, you will be able to:

* Work with business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

* Assist in configuring SAP modules (Finance, Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Logistics/Procurement, etc.) to meet business needs.

* Work with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to SAP modules.

* Support day-to-day operations and resolve functional issues within SAP systems.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

* Work closely with other teams (Business and Technical) to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services.

* Participate in SAP system implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects

* Support internal audits and compliance initiatives related to SAP systems.

* Stay current with SAP product developments, enhancements, and best practices to ensure continuous learning and growth.

You will have support from multiple years of previous new graduates who have grown their careers within the IBM SAP practice and can provide mentorship. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SAP Technical consultant to join our team in Halifax & Calgary. SAP Practice has grown to 300+ SAP Professionals across Halifax, Calgary and Montreal CIC locations.

Required technical and professional expertise

Required Qualifications:

* Eligibility to work in Canada without future visa sponsorship (valid work permit, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship).

* Willingness to live and work in Calgary, AB.

Preferred Education:

* Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, accounting, commerce, business technical management

* SAP certifications through college/university program, or independently

Core Competencies:

* Exposure or basic understanding of one SAP module (e.g., Finance, Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Logistics/Procurement), preference is SAP certification

* Work in a team environment with team members of a diverse background and skill set along with being comfortable working on your own to complete individual assigned tasks.

* Able to learn new processes, coach and direct team members.

* Able to work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers. You have strong excel skills and enjoy making meaningful evaluations of a given set of data tables, excel files etc.

* Work in a team environment with team members of a diverse background and skill set along with being comfortable working on your own to complete individual assigned tasks.

* Knowledge of compliance regulations & Industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

* You have basic knowledge or hands on experience in one or more of the following technology areas: Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, DevOps, Adobe.

Additional Skills:

* Familiarity with agile methods and scrum frameworks

* You enjoy working with the public and have demonstrated excellent customer experience skills. You will have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and executives.

* Good at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex functional issues.
