Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute infrastructure projects across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Assist in the transition from legacy systems to modern, scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Optimize existing infrastructure to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
  • Develop and execute on a 3-year data center strategy including rationalization and SLA adherence
  • Provide hands-on support for day-to-day issues and participate in an on-call rotation (very low volume, paid at 2x)
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals and cloud adoption plans
  • Contribute to the Microsoft 365 and Azure transitions
  • Identify gaps, conduct independent discovery, and implement solutions with minimal direction

Skills/Must have:

  • Strong understanding of both traditional infrastructure and cloud technologies
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, Netapp (if niche/local platform), Aruba networking, and Fortinet firewalls
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Experience in optimizing and maintaining hybrid environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues independently
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Salary:

  • $70 per hour
