Overview
We are currently looking for an Infrastructure & Security Analyst to be subject matter expert for the operation, support, and security of the IT Infrastructure consisting of servers, desktops, and networks (including authentication systems, VPN, switches, anti-virus, client firewalls, web filtering, and Wi-Fi) both on premises, offsite data center and in the cloud and printers.
This is a Full-Time position out of our Waterloo Corporate office with a hybrid 50 / 50 (home and in office) model.

What The Role Involves
Provides excellent customer service to internal customers through hands-on end-user support including level 2 and 3 support. Escalates issues internally and / or with external vendors when required to ensure timely resolutionDemonstrates the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business practicesModels expected behaviours, supporting a service excellence cultureIndependently prioritizes and executes work, using the Information Technology ticket system and proactively tracks and reports on activities and projectsAccurately logs - Level 2 - Service Desk tickets and resolutions into the Service Desk software management system; maintain vigilant maintenance of this processUnder the direction of the Director, acts as the subject matter expert for network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity technologiesWorks with an extended team to design and maintain the corporate network and firewallsKeeps apprised of advancements and best practices in network technologies and brings forward recommendations to improve network design, security and performanceCreates and maintains inventory and CMDB of IT Infrastructure components (Network, Servers, Desktops, and mobile devices)Identifies vulnerabilities and systems configuration issues; and coordinates with system administrators to remediate the vulnerabilitiesImplements and maintains tools to prevent, detect, and analyze security threatsMonitors systems and advises IT management in a timely manner of incidents (including breaches) or significant warningsAssists with identifying and remedying vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure, computing devices, and business applications in coordination with the IT team and vendors.Provides technical recommendations on the selection and implementation of new technologies.Assists with computer systems validation and compliance for CarePartners systems.Provides weekly KPI reporting on key metrics relating to infrastructure and cybersecurity technologiesFollows CarePartners regulatory requirements and meets quality and data integrity standards while following information privacy and security guidelinesAssists other staff on the IT team, with projects, client support, installations, and upgradesObserves and supports all safety guidelines and regulationsProvides staff training (Group or one-on-one) on technology platforms. (Mobile / Security Software etc.)Creates training and documentation content for staff as well as for the IT teamReviews, implements, and ensures operational compliance with all policies and procedures as directedEvaluates and recommend changes to applicable CarePartners policies and proceduresWhat You Bring
Information technology related diploma / degree from a recognized Community College or UniversityMinimum 2 years of IT experience, with a focus on information securityCISSP or equivalent certification achieved or in progressITIL Foundations Certification an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsIn-depth knowledge of MS Office software applicationKnowledge of community home health industry programs / services is an assetTravel within Ontario and the ability to work non-traditional and on-call hours is a requirementCustomer Service experience is an asset.CarePartners In Your Community
