Job summary

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking a Technical Specialist, Project Management to provide services for infrastructure and environmental projects. You will act as a technical lead, guiding decision processes and coordinating client-partner interactions.

The role requires a college diploma with four years of relevant experience, data-driven documentation, and a focus on risk and project management. A hybrid schedule with security clearances may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum: college diploma in engineering, architecture or related field with four years’ relevant experience.
• Preferred: university degree in one of the above fields and/or additional training in project management.

Responsibilities

• Research, prepare and present documentation required for long-term projects (e.g. approvals, statements of work, projects charters, budgets).
• Complete project management from initiation to closure for infrastructure and environmental projects, including new construction, recapitalization and environmental assessment and remediation.
• Coordinate stakeholder communications to ensure timely decision making.
• Prepare tender documents and coordinate consultant activities.
• Act as the representative of the project director or project manager within DCC signing authority.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with DCC, Client-Partners and stakeholders.
