About the Job :

This is an entry level role where we are looking to train, develop and grow our next technician. In this position, you will learn how to install conduit, pull cabling, install, repair, and provide maintenance of telecommunications cabling systems, complete work on pedestals, and learn how to dig communications trenches.

About You

The ideal person will have some experience in an industrial environment with some communications education or experience. You will have good problem solving, trouble shooting, technical and mechanical skills with a safety-first attitude. We want someone that is looking to grow a career in the Communications world and is not afraid of hard work.

Must Haves :

  • Safety First Mindset
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Operators License or equivalent (recent Commercial Drivers Abstract will be required upon condition of employment)
  • Transportation to and from office / shop

Assets include :

  • Prior work experience in a construction, cabling or industrial setting an asset
  • Valid Safety Tickets are considered an asset
  • Telecommunications education an asset
