Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join one the Cloud Foundation team for one of North America's largest retail and wellness companies. The ideal candidate will be working in a hybrid Environment out of the downtown Vancouver office. The Cloud Foundations team is a core pillar of technology Strategy. Its purpose is to provide strong and scalable foundations within our Azure and AWS clouds. Leveraging cloud-native technologies, we create

and manage platforms servicing our internal stakeholders with a customer-first mindset. We enable and empower teams to become self-sufficient, while providing guardrails to protect the organization. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for enterprise foundation systems supporting multiple teams/organizations

• Contributes to development of new solutioning principles and concepts

• Articulate technical functionality of AWS and Azure Landing Zones related products and services,

Terraform, and infrastructure platforms to multiple technical audiences

Educate and advise users on how to adopt the functionality of infrastructure platform products

within their strategy and processes to achieve measurable value

Translate application team needs into technical solutions and product requirements.

Influences decisions that impact critical long term IT strategy for organizational success.

Provides thought leadership to ensure that systems and services are designed and operating to

achieve optimal levels of performance, reliability, and sustainability.

Skills and Requirements

• Has a minimum of four years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role working in highly distributed systems across a variety of cloud infrastructure environments

• Has Experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and Infrastructure as code

• Experience/familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Gitlab and supporting platforms and services

(hosting, monitoring, governance, and others)

• Experience with Python

• Has experience with retail systems/retail environments null
