(Internal Title- Project Management IV)
Responsibilities:
- Support multiple project and program teams through various stages of the delivery life cycle
- Monitor and report on program-level progress
- Provide advice and support to the Head of PDP, including assistance with service delivery, internal communications, resourcing, and other ad hoc needs
- Maintain and update the organizational structure and operating model for the PDP, ensuring alignment with and enhancement of the Client structure
- Manage special projects as requested by Client, typically short-term initiatives outside the scope of the Annual Work Plans
- Foster, manage, and maintain strong client relationships
- Liaise with senior client leaders to analyze KPI scores related to Corridor Team and Embedded Resource performance, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and completed
- Establish and evaluate best-practice program policies, processes, and procedures
- Review existing conditions and implement industry best-practice processes
- Promote collaboration within the PDP organization and across client teams
- Manage and implement projects from inception to completion
- Develop project plans and expectations in consultation with stakeholders, including clients
- Determine and manage human and material resources for project success
- Formulate resource allocation strategies and budgets
- Exercise authority in managing work and project delivery per plans
- Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Monitor and report on project performance, addressing issues with corrective actions
- Evaluate project effectiveness with clients and stakeholders
- Deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences
- Lead scope change negotiations
- Oversee quality control and manage quality issues and checks
- Define success criteria and communicate them throughout the project lifecycle
Working Conditions:
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years in Project Management
- Broad experience in project and program management
- Proven track record in high-value infrastructure projects, preferably in rail sector
- Strong knowledge of planning and project management tools and techniques
- Awareness of safety considerations in operational and project environments
- Solid understanding of contractual matters in projects
- Experience in producing high-quality materials for stakeholders
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Professional experience in project, program, or commercial management
Licenses or Certifications:
- Recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
