- (Internal Title:Business System Configuration / Development IV)
- PMIS Implementation & Deployment Support
- Support the day-to-day implementation and rollout of Octave Sequence (EcoSys).
- Assist with project mobilization, discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of implementation plans, schedules, action logs, RAID logs, and delivery documentation.
- Track implementation activities, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and outstanding actions.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, testing sessions, and implementation activities with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.
- Support business readiness and user onboarding activities prior to production deployment.
- Assist with the transition of the platform from implementation into ongoing operational support.
- PMIS Application Support
- Provide day-to-day functional support to PMIS users across projects, business units, and project controls functions.
- Respond to user questions, investigate reported issues, and coordinate resolution with internal technical teams and external vendors where required.
- Troubleshoot system, workflow, configuration, reporting, and data-related issues.
- Document, track, prioritize, and follow up on support requests and system issues through resolution.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process, configuration, training, or system improvements.
- Support user access, permissions, workflows, and other application administration activities as required.
- Maintain knowledge articles, user guides, procedures, FAQs, and other support documentation.
- Testing, Releases & Enhancements
- Support functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop or maintain test scenarios, test scripts, expected results, defect logs, and testing documentation.
- Coordinate defect resolution and retesting with business users, technical teams, and implementation partners.
- Support future Octave Sequence releases, upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Assist with evaluating enhancement requests and documenting business requirements.
- Support deployment planning, release communications, user readiness, and post-deployment validation.
- Work with business stakeholders and project controls teams to identify opportunities to improve PMIS functionality, workflows, reporting, and user experience.
- Gather and document user feedback, enhancement requests, and evolving business requirements.
- Support prioritization and tracking of platform enhancements and future capabilities.
- Assist with onboarding additional projects, business units, and functional areas onto the PMIS.
- Promote consistent use of the platform and established project controls processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase user adoption, data quality, process efficiency, and overall PMIS effectiveness.
- Project Controls & Business Process Support
- Work with project controls stakeholders to understand business processes related to cost management, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, change management, progress measurement, reporting, and other capital project functions.
- Support the translation of business and project controls requirements into system processes, workflows, configuration requirements, and reporting solutions.
- Assist users in understanding how PMIS functionality supports established project controls processes.
- Identify gaps between business processes and system functionality and support the development of practical solutions.
- Work closely with project controls, project management, finance, engineering, construction, technology, and other business stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the third-party implementation partner and software vendor to investigate and resolve application issues.
- Participate in workshops, design reviews, planning sessions, testing activities, and implementation meetings.
- Communicate system updates, known issues, planned releases, and changes to affected stakeholders.
- Escalate significant system issues, delivery risks, or business impacts to PMIS leadership when appropriate.
- Documentation, Governance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate PMIS support documentation, configuration records, issue logs, enrichment registers, testing documentation, and operating procedures.
- Support implementation and operational reporting by providing updates on issues, risks, testing, enhancements, and support activities.
- Help ensure system changes and support activities follow established governance, change management, testing, and quality assurance processes.
- Support data quality, system consistency, and adherence to established PMIS standards.
- Working Conditions
- Hybrid (Vancouver office 4 days/week, Remote 1 day/week)

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 8+ years leading enterprise software implementation projects.
- 5+ years managing enterprise PMIS or enterprise application implementations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing at least one full lifecycle Octave Sequence (formerly EcoSys) implementation.
- Strong understanding of Octave Sequence platform capabilities, implementation methodology, configuration approach, security model, reporting capabilities, and integration patterns.
- Proven experience managing third-party implementation partners and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Experience transitioning enterprise PMIS platforms from initial implementation into operational rollout and continuous enhancement.
- Extensive experience implementing or managing Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) supporting major capital projects and programs.
- Strong project management experience across planning, governance, scheduling, risk management, testing, deployment, organizational readiness, and change management.
- Experience working with enterprise project controls organizations supporting major capital projects and programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Sound understanding of Data and Digital Management of large capital programs
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent system implementation and integration projects
- Extensive knowledge of Project Costing, Scheduling, Earned Value Performance Metrics, and Construction or Contract Administration
- Mastery of Project Management and Construction, Project Controls, and Contractor Management Processes and Application
- Expert Business Analysis experience in a project management context
- Adept in people leadership with sound technical and client-facing skills including extensive experience in preparing and presenting business cases
- Experienced in managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of technical Business Systems professionals
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Primavera Unifier, Primavera P6, and EcoSys

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
