Construction Management IV

Provides constructability reviews of design documents for construction contracts at key stages of design review to identify issues, reduce construction claims due to design errors/omissions, and improve coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Reviews documents to ensure clear, enforceable contract language, and evaluates construction sequencing, methodologies, scheduling, and temporary works.

Ensures that the planned construction duration is realistic and sufficient to complete the work.

Manages and directs project-specific tasks and duties within the area of specialty.

Monitors all project construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, design documents, quality standards, safety, and environmental issues, by overseeing assigned staff, leads, and SMEs.

Conducts daily site inspections and audits, ensuring high-quality submissions with comprehensive logs and records.

Reviews digital infrastructure relevant to construction administration and field operations.

Develops and delivers analyses of construction progress through meetings, reports, contractor submissions, and schedules.

Supports resolution of claims, non-conformances, or disputes initiated by contractors.

Analyzes weekly and monthly KPI reports to ensure stakeholder awareness and project tracking.

Facilitates effective communication with project leaders and stakeholders regarding project status, concerns, and actions to support on-time, on-budget completion.

Leads value engineering, constructability reviews, scheduling, and documentation development across project phases.

Supervises team members by orienting, training, and managing their project responsibilities in line with company policies and values.

Provides technical guidance and feedback to team members to achieve performance goals and project objectives.

Participates in meetings with clients, third parties, and managers to assess progress, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and negotiate scope changes.

Defines resource requirements and success criteria, disseminating this information to involved parties.

Completes tasks assigned by higher management efficiently and promptly.

  • Office-based and on-site
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in Engineering or Construction
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Licenses or Certifications: Recognized certification in area of specialty
