The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced IT Sourcing Advisor (Consultant) to support the strategic sourcing and procurement of IT solutions and services. As part of a cross-functional team of IT consultants, staff, and business leaders, you will contribute to the planning and execution of our Information Technology roadmap by helping the organization make informed, value-driven technology sourcing decisions. Responsibilities :

• Evaluating, planning, designing, and governing the organization’s IT systems and security architecture from a sourcing and vendor management perspective.
• Help identify the best sourcing models, vendors, and technologies that align with our operational goals, ensuring cost-efficiency, compliance, and long-term value.
• Support IT procurement strategies including vendor evaluation, selection, negotiation, and performance management.
• Assist in sourcing decisions for hardware, software, cloud services, and consulting engagements.
• Provide insight and guidance on IT contracts, licensing models, and pricing structures.
• Conduct value and risk assessments of sourcing options for IT and security initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to align sourcing strategies with project needs.
• Monitor market trends and emerging vendors to ensure optimal solution selection.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and procurement best practices.

Requirements :

• 5+ years in an IT management or procurement-focused role.
• 10+ years of experience in your technical field, including sourcing advisory or vendor management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting full lifecycle IT project deployment.
• Strong understanding of project methodologies such as SCRUM and Waterfall.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent certifications and industry experience.
• Expertise in vendor sourcing, RFP development, and contract negotiations.
• Solid knowledge of IT security principles and how they impact procurement decisions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
