We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a large-scale Cloud Application Migration initiative involving Azure and AWS platforms. The successful candidate will assist project managers and technical teams in planning, coordinating, and tracking activities related to migrating applications from on-premise or legacy systems to modern cloud environments. This role is within a highly regulated banking environment , requiring strong organizational, communication, and compliance awareness.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist Project Managers in coordinating tasks across multiple teams, including Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Application Owners, and Vendors.
• Track and manage project schedules, status updates, action items, and deliverables.
• Support documentation for application migration plans, dependency mapping, change management, and compliance sign-offs.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, record minutes, track follow-ups, and ensure timely completion of action items.
• Maintain project dashboards, trackers, and reports using tools like Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, or Jira.
• Collaborate with technical teams to monitor progress on pre-migration readiness, data validation, testing, and go-live execution.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready in accordance with banking compliance standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage risks, issues, and escalation paths.
• Support the onboarding and tracking of third-party vendors involved in cloud transition activities.
• Monitor post-migration stabilization activities and track application performance.

Required Skills and Experience :

3+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager in large-scale IT environments.

Experience supporting Cloud projects (Azure and / or AWS), ideally involving application or infrastructure migration.

Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, security, and compliance in the banking or financial sector.

Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases (Waterfall and Agile methodologies).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, MS Project, and collaboration tools like MS Teams.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow is an asset.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in a Canadian or global bank or financial institution.

Knowledge of cloud migration frameworks or methodologies (e.g., AWS CAF, Azure Migrate).

PMP, CAPM, or Agile / Scrum certifications are an asset.
