THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Supply Chain Solution Delivery team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving supply chain technology solutions. As the Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology, you will spearhead the design and orchestration of technology across our rapidly evolving Supply Chain ecosystem. This is a pivotal role that combines deep technical architecture experience with practical domain knowledge to advance Aritzia into the next phase of our Supply Chain technology roadmap—beyond basic solutions into transformational change. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Global Architecture, senior Supply Chain Technology leadership, and other Technology teams to architect data and system flows across distribution, inventory, omnichannel, and product management. You will lead supply chain initiatives from a solution architecture perspective, shape our technical direction, and ensure designs are correctly implemented—from mechanisms to overall performance. Your contributions will open opportunities for career growth within Aritzia and in the broader technology landscape.

THE ROLE

As the Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology, you will:

  1. Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and senior leaders, influencing decisions that drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term value creation.
  2. Lead the design of end-to-end architecture across all supply chain functions—from factory to fulfillment center to final mile—ensuring agility, scalability, and resilience.
  3. Partner with the Head of Global Architecture to align roadmaps and ensure integration with the broader enterprise architecture and transformation vision.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Enterprise Integration team, Engineering leaders, and system owners to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
  5. Spearhead high-impact initiatives including distribution center design and launches, WMS/WCS implementations, and logistics innovation, driving automation and operational efficiencies.
  6. Combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership, engaging directly in design, sequencing, and critical decisions to ensure successful outcomes.
  7. Act as a technology mentor and enterprise influencer, guiding technical teams and ensuring architectural decisions drive measurable business impact.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology, has:

  1. Proven skills, applicable certifications, education, and/or experience in relevant areas.
  2. 15+ years of experience in technology architecture and delivery, with a focus on global retail supply chain operations.
  3. Leadership experience in launching or modernizing multi-node distribution networks across North America, EMEA, or APAC.
  4. Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation programs from blueprint to delivery.
  5. Excellent communication and influence skills at the C-level, bridging business goals and technical execution.
  6. Extensive expertise in systems including warehouse management systems (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), and automation.
  7. Experience with parcel and freight management systems, purchase order platforms (e.g., Infor Nexus), inventory visibility, factory, freight, and port visibility tools, labor management systems, and data management infrastructure.
  8. Experience in fast-paced retail environments requiring flexibility and speed.
  9. A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and aligning with Aritzia’s values and leadership principles.
  10. Strong collaboration skills for strategic cross-functional partnerships.
  11. Ability to set clear objectives and inspire teams with strategic planning.
