THE ROLE

As the Principal Architect, Omni Technology, you will :

Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Manufacturing Officer, and other senior leaders, influencing decisions that drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term value creation.

Focus on building scalable, intelligent, and integrated solutions that connect upstream manufacturing data, inbound transportation visibility, RFID-enabled inventory tracking, and downstream order fulfillment and customer experience.

Define the omni technology architecture roadmap, spanning RFID, ASN, order management, and inventory visibility from vendor through to end consumer.

Architect the end-to-end RFID solution across product lifecycle — source tagging at origin, RFID labeling and encoding at DCs, reader infrastructure across warehouse and stores, and integration into fulfillment and store operations.

Lead architecture of ASN (Advance Ship Notices) and partner integrations using platforms such as Infor Nexus and Project44, ensuring seamless upstream visibility and transportation event tracking.

Architect inventory orchestration and fulfillment logic, including flow-through models, dynamic allocation, and real-time inventory synchronization across channels.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Global Architecture to align sequencing, technical patterns, and long-term platform strategies.

Partner with the Enterprise Integration team and technology product teams to enable high-quality APIs, message orchestration, and data flow across platforms.

Drive innovation pilots including RFID deployment strategies, smart inventory automation, and edge computing at the store.

Lead vendor evaluations and integration patterns for critical components including RFID readers, encoding platforms, middleware, and visibility layers.

Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance across a matrixed team of developers, product owners, infrastructure engineers, and integration leads.
