The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Quality Assurance Analyst, you will ensure the highest level of quality for software products and solutions including supporting System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and are involved in pre and postproduction activities and other deliverables. The Quality Assurance Analyst may also be responsible for project management as needed to ensure the quality of changes going into the production environment. The position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be in Toronto, ON. Apply now and have your career soar to new heights - under out wing

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Perform regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing.
  • Ensure that all software meets quality standards before release.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential issues.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure a complete understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Comply with the company’s QA standards and provide daily test execution progress and technical reports as needed.
  • Execute and evaluate both manual and automated test cases while reporting test results.
  • Communicate defects and issues in a concise, timely, and professional manner; assist development in reproducing defects under investigation.
  • Be proactive and a collaborative team player with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct API testing to confirm the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of all interfaces involved in the project.
  • Conduct periodic exploratory testing to stress test the systems and identify opportunities for future improvement.
  • Understand the time-sensitive nature of the business and strive to work as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the system are thoroughly tested by utilizing testing scenarios of varying complexity.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 – 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle, testing strategies, tools, and QA methodologies.
  • Experienced working with database testing in MySQL Server environments
  • Knowledge on Azure DevOps tool
  • Knowledge on test automation.
  • Quick learner with proven ability to work under minimal guidance.
  • Experience working with and testing web services – REST, SOAP, JSON.
  • Experience with performance testing is considered an asset
  • Experience working on Mobile Testing
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and creative in problem solving
  • Detailed-oriented, thorough, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of travel business considered an asset.
