Job Description:

  1. Confer with clients to identify and document requirements.
  2. Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
  3. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle.
  5. Conduct business and technical studies.
  6. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  7. Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  8. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  9. Work as a Business System Analyst for migrating a legacy mainframe platform to a new digital analytics platform.
  10. Document business process flows, use cases, and create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
  11. Liaise with stakeholders for requirements gathering and produce documentation for TIBCO BPM and system specifications.
  12. Prepare detailed system migration plans, including risk registers, milestones, and communication strategies.
  13. Research current system states and document impact analyses and future state plans.
  14. Lead requirement analysis using interviews, workflow diagramming, use case analysis, and data modeling.
  15. Present updates and recommendations to senior management.
  16. Work on digital projects involving mobile and web applications for account management and decision workflows.
  17. Partner with business units to improve collaboration and project performance.
  18. Provide ad-hoc support to users.
  19. Create test cases and validate requirements as QA role.
  20. During the pandemic, responsibilities will include working from home.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related field, or completion of a college program in computer science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis within IT and financial systems integration.
  • Proficiency with UNIX, Linux, Windows 2008/2012, MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, TIBCO Spotfire, TIBCO BPM, ServiceNow, JIRA, SQL, T-SQL.
  • Experience with SAP FICO is preferred.
  • Ability to write functional and technical designs, facilitate workshops, and support project discovery.
  • Strong technical management, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile tools like Mural, Slack, RTC, Trello.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: $38.94/hour, 37.5 hours/week.
  • Benefits include cellular phone.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with flexibility; overtime and weekend work may be required.
