Parsons is seeking a talented Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our growing team!

In this mission-critical role, you will be responsible for conducting information systems security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle. Your duties will include capturing and refining information protection requirements to ensure their integration into information systems acquisitions and development through security design or configuration. Additionally, you will integrate security functional requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and documents using systems engineering principles and methodologies. Success in this role requires knowledge of best practices in implementing security controls, including software engineering methodologies, security engineering principles, and secure coding techniques, while coordinating activities with assessment and authorization stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware, Xen, Hyper V; non-degreed candidates require 6+ years of relevant experience
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+)

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of ICD 503 and the Government’s certification and accreditation (C&A) process
• Proficiency with networks, computer components, system protocols, and COTS technology
• Knowledge of system methodologies including client/server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers, firewalls, WAN, MAN, LAN, switches, and routers
• Expertise in software integration of COTS and GOTS products
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, Unix, and Mac OS
• Experience in software engineering, project management, system design, configuration management, system maintenance, and integration testing

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $108,700 - $190,200
