About the Company

This role involves strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of technology and security systems to support business objectives.

About the Role

• Manage and administer IT security systems and policies
• Oversee the vulnerability management program and analyze threat intelligence
• Monitor and address cybersecurity threats, ensuring timely mitigation and patching
• Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop preventive strategies
• Perform security assessments and penetration testing; lead remediation efforts
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
• Support audits and business continuity/disaster recovery planning
• Maintain endpoint protection, antivirus, firewall, and patch management systems
• Analyze logs and alerts from security platforms; respond to security events
• Prepare regular security posture reports
• Document processes and assist in IT projects and escalated issues

What You Bring

Qualifications:

• A college or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 5–7 years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Experience supporting Cisco platforms and managing vendors
• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GIAC, or vendor-specific credentials are an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in vulnerability management and security frameworks (ISO, NIST)
• Experience with Cisco technologies (Client, ASA, FirePower, Meraki, Umbrella, etc.)
• Proficiency with Microsoft (M365, Azure, Active Directory), Windows, and Linux
• Familiarity with email security gateways (Mimecast, Proofpoint, etc.) and DLP tools
• Knowledge of virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery tools (Veeam, ZERTO, etc.)
• Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills
