We are currently seeking an Information Security Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Quebec (CA-QC), Canada (CA).

Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Contact system owners/vendors for assigned systems to gather relevant background material and set up interviews for information gathering.
2. Conduct remote/in-person interviews with system owners/vendors to gather information and identify gaps.
3. Review system-related materials such as specifications, diagrams, requirements, and test plans to ensure security standards are met.
4. Review assessment results with system owners/vendors and Senior Security Architecture Analysts.
5. Conduct security assessments using available documentation.
6. Create comprehensive security architecture assessment reports with root-cause analysis and remediation strategies.
7. Develop and establish global security standards and processes.
8. Evaluate new products and technologies, providing recommendations for their introduction.

Basic Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in Security Architecture Assessment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills:

1. At least one professional certification such as CISSP, SSCP, or CISM.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client presentations.
3. Ability to manage expectations and work under pressure.
4. Experience in an enterprise information security role.
5. Ability to explain application vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
6. Knowledge of security technologies like SAML2.0, Kerberos, and attack methods like XSS, CSRF, Injection.
7. Adaptability to changing priorities.
8. Strong knowledge of network technologies and security trends.
9. Research skills and awareness of OWASP Top 10 security issues.
