What You’ll Do
  1. Investigate security alerts and threat hunting leads across various technologies (SIEM, EDR, email security, etc.) as part of the SOC and Threat Management team.
  2. Maintain situational awareness of changes in the threat landscape, industry trends, and internal environment. Collaborate with Information Security teams, IT Operations, Engineering, and vendors.
  3. Report to the Information Security Manager. Your role is crucial in protecting TTEC from data loss and security events.
  4. Conduct proactive monitoring, investigations, and mitigation of security events.
  5. Understand your environment and engage with teams to deepen knowledge.
  6. Recognize intrusion attempts and compromises through event data analysis.
  7. Participate in escalation and response to security incidents.
What You Bring To The Role
  • Hands-on SOC experience investigating and responding to security events across SIEM, EDR, email security, NGFW, cloud platforms, threat intelligence.
  • Cloud platform expertise (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT and security principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently on open-ended tasks.
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT security or related fields; an IT degree or training is advantageous.

Compensation

The expected annual salary is approximately $83,233, subject to variation based on location, experience, education, and skills.
