Job description

Information Security Architect

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Contract Type: Long Term Contract

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide senior-level expertise as an Information Security Architect.
  2. Perform information security design assessments and gap analysis.
  3. Design and implement defense-in-depth security controls for critical applications and data environments.
  4. Develop and execute cybersecurity maturity programs and projects.
  5. Apply ISO 27001/2 standards and other security compliance frameworks.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the technical and business landscape, including experience with GOS or similar entities.
  7. Conduct security reviews to ensure adherence to security guidelines and standards.
  8. Work with project teams to identify security requirements for infrastructure and applications, including securing endpoints, networks, and cloud solutions.
  9. Utilize security tools and concepts such as IAM, SSO, IPS/IDS, firewalls, vulnerability management, penetration testing, VPN, PKI, LDAP, AD, SAML, SIEM.
  10. Work with web technologies, application servers, and cloud services.
  11. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the current security landscape and solutions related to endpoint, core network, and cloud security.
  12. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001/2 or similar frameworks.
Qualifications and Certifications

Achievement of industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, TOGAF, and GIAC will be considered assets.
