Information Security Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid — 2 days in office, 3 days work from home (with potential to move to 4 days in office)

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension based on business needs and performance)
• Pay Rate: C$45.00–C$52.00 / Hour (CAD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours — 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
• Travel Requirements: Not required

Job Summary

This role provides leadership for the provision of technical expertise in the development and support of activities, processes, procedures, and tools for protecting information security, with a focus on application security. The successful candidate will research, design, and implement application security solutions and practices, direct testing of security plans, and lead the evaluation of new and proposed security systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement application security solutions and practices
• Direct testing of security plans
• Lead the evaluation of new and proposed security systems and technologies
• Provide technical expertise in development and support of activities, processes, procedures, and tools for protecting information security with a focus on application security
• Support certificate lifecycle management

• Spend an average of 3–4 hours per day in meetings, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow for ticketing
• Basic understanding of PKI – Public Key Infrastructure
• Strong communication skills — verbal and written

• Ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Venafi
• Prior banking or financial institution experience
• Customer service experience within an enterprise or corporate environment
