Job description

You will work closely with the Information Management team to support both day-to-day customer and business requests and long-term projects relating to Information Management and data security. This will include assisting in the development of policies standards procedures and compliance measures that relate to data handling document retention access management and data monitoring and auditing and all other aspects of information security.

  • Assist with the analysis and configuration of new and existing applications repositories and toolsets to ensure appropriate and compliant data identification segregation and controls.
  • Identify gaps in tool behaviours and configuration.
  • Work to streamline and automate recurring IM related tasks and duties.
  • Perform technical tasks and analyze information (including annual access reviews and compliance monitoring) by reconciling analyzing reviewing and verifying data as well as producing regular reports - including the documentation of evidence for audit purposes.
  • Interact with customers to identify and define system requirements resolve technical issues and / or provide on-going assistance / support relating to access controls / requests and administration of data tools queries and reports

Qualifications :

  • Experience with managing repositories and applications including tool administration data labelling and segregation identifying and provisioning roles and access comprehension of access controls and permission schemas.
  • Intermediate / Advanced use of various office software tools : MS Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel) database applications.
  • Experience in coding or scripting knowledge of Python and / or Powershell is an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview auditing Sensitive Information Types Sensitivity Labels and DLP
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail problem solving and analysis skills
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Ability and initiative to quickly learn new tools

Education

  • College diploma or university degree in Information Management Information Technology or Computing Science
