Our Burnaby-based government client is seeking a skilled Informatica Data Engineer to support a fast-paced and impactful project. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly within a large enterprise environment and help shape the future of a forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities

1. Perform daily operations activities for data pipelines and the Informatica platform to support data and analytics solutions.
2. Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality, sustainable Business Insights.
3. Conduct detailed source system and gap analysis using a data modeler to complete source-to-target mappings and determine gaps between current and future data information needs based on business requirements, creating solutions that meet these needs.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of Informatica consulting experience on enterprise technology projects in at least three (3) of the following areas:
• Oracle PL/SQL
• PostgreSQL
• Real-Time Data Processing
• Big Data Technologies – Greenplum and Hadoop
• Seven (7) years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter (v9.x and 10.x).
• At least three (3) years of experience in Informatica Data Quality, including writing, debugging, and maintaining SQL, ETL, and Shell Scripts.
• At least three (3) years of experience with SAP Business Objects, including Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and Design Studio.
• Five (5) years of experience in production support roles.
