Purpose of the role

The incumbent will assist the visual presentation department by producing planograms and other strategic documents for our stores, in order to ensure effective communication to maximize sales.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop planograms and other marketing documents so that the guidelines are clear and concise for our stores and ensure that these documents are sent on time;
  • Develop the window sequence documents for each season and ensure that these documents are sent on time;
  • Adapt the Visual Standards Guide as our ways of doing things evolve, so that this essential work tool for stores remains relevant and up-to-date;
  • Perform the entry and update of the data of the collections each season;
  • Print and send planograms and other visual documents;
  • Ensure that the display inventory is maintained;
  • Send store display requests and prepare display orders for store openings;
  • Participate in the development of visual presentation policies and techniques to standardize the company's brand image on a national scale;
  • Participate in the selection and research of the components used for the various documents;
  • Keep up to date with trends in visual presentation and store concepts;
  • Participate in any other special projects related to visual and/or marketing presentation.

Your Profile

  • Tool Proficiency: You excel in using the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) to create clear and impactful visuals.
  • Visual Merchandising: You transform guidelines into precise and attractive documents for stores.
  • Attention to Detail and Deadline Management: You juggle multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.
  • Clarity and Structure: You make visual information accessible and easy to understand for everyone.

Requirements

  • College diploma in graphic design or equivalent;
  • Minimum of one year of experience in graphic design;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written, in French and English (The person will be required to communicate with stores outside of Canada);
  • Good creative mind;
  • Ability to manage multiple files at once;
  • Team spirit;
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite;
  • Very good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software;
  • Good knowledge of Excel software (an asset);
  • Knowledge of retail (an asset).
