Montessori Teachers College, located in Oakville, is seeking an Infant Toddler ECE Teacher for their Maple Grove campus. This full-time permanent position requires a qualified candidate to develop engaging curricula and ensure the well-being of children aged 0 to 30 months.

Qualifications

3 years of experience working with children at Infant or Toddler age.
Prior experience working in a Montessori school is a strong asset.
Current First Aid/CPR Certification and Police Check required.

Western Heights Montessori Academy is voted as one of the Best Montessori Schools by Oakville Beaver. With seven campuses in Oakville and Mississauga, we have an Infant Toddler ECE Teacher position open for experienced teacher candidates to join the team at our Maple Grove campus.

Roles And Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaged curriculum for Infant or Toddler children and care for their physical needs to promote healthy development both physically and intellectually.
Assess current students and develop customized learning plan for each student.
Conduct parent‑teacher interviews and communicate with parents on a regular basis formally and informally.
Ensure health, safety and all standards are met according to Ministry of Education licensing requirements.
Assist with open houses and parent tours to promote the School to prospective parents.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

3 years of experience working with children at Infant or Toddler age (0 to 30 months).
Prior experience working in a Montessori school is a strong asset.
RECE, MACTE or AMI certificate preferred.
Good knowledge of CCEYA, Public Health and Fire Safety Standards.
Current First Aid/CPR Certification, Police Check and Immunization Records.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Flexible with work schedule.
Loves teaching and caring for young children.
