The work:

  • Support in coordinating control system activities, providingexpert knowledgeon Delta V context, reviewing documentation, conducting QA and QC validation, assessing risks, and seeking opportunities.
  • Assist in the review processof architecture design blueprints and project documents, and provide feedback.
  • Offer best practicesto the team with experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering, and maintain communication within the infrastructure and integration teams for all potential connection systems.
  • Manage third-party vendor interfacesand provide operations and maintenance support for automation and control systems.
  • Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT)and site acceptance testing (SAT) as needed, and oversee commissioning and startup processes, guided and aligned with BHP Technology and Operations teams.
  • Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesfor the technological infrastructure service in accordance with work procedures.
  • Execute the requirements, incident and change tasks assigned by platform.
  • Execute scheduled activities and incidents according to the prioritization of the supervisor and client.
  • Identify safety conditions in accordance with work procedures and current regulations.
  • Protect environmental conditions in accordance with work procedures and current regulations.

Here’s what you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in control engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on DeltaV experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Mining, desirable
  • Support and operation of power backup systems.
  • Experience in infrastructure support and management.
  • Ability to work in shifts
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
