You are:

In your role within our Industry X.0 team, you’ll help clients leverage significant market opportunities as digital technology becomes central to industry in product development and manufacturing. You’ll assist in transforming product, manufacturing, and related services across sectors like Products, Communications, Media, High Tech, Aerospace & Defense, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Utilities. As part of Accenture Digital, you’ll benefit from tailored career management and specialized skills to support your ambitions in Industry X.0.

Responsibilities of the PLM Technical Consultant may include:

  1. Providing technical and domain expertise on complex projects.
  2. Participating in requirements gathering and specifications creation.
  3. Supporting technical design in collaboration with the technical architect.
  4. Configuring applications based on functional and technical designs.
  5. Diagnosing and resolving defects during deployment and implementation. Contributing to and executing implementation plans.
  6. Documenting configuration and architecture.
  7. Conducting unit, functional, and integration testing, including preparing test cases and data.
  8. Designing and implementing solution enhancements.
  9. Coaching workstream teams.
  10. Supporting project management in various workstreams.
  11. Writing or modifying process extensions based on design and programming specifications, including documentation.
  12. Reporting progress and issues.
  13. Travel up to 80% as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience programming with major PLM systems (PTC, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, SAP-PLM, Oracle Agile) and/or Master Data Management, including 2+ years with Java and/or C++.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in English, as the role involves regular interaction with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. This requirement is non-negotiable due to the volume of interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • API development experience.
  • Knowledge of systems implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering concepts.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and prioritize.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience with data migration.
  • Team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Effective time management skills.
