We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Configuration Management / PLM Consultant with experience in Aerospace & Defense to join our team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain configuration management processes across the product lifecycle. You will leverage your expertise to improve processes, ensure seamless system integration, and deliver high-quality results aligned with customer and business needs.

Responsibilities of the Configuration Management/PLM Senior Analyst include:

• Requirements & Specifications: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and specifications. Participate in creating functional specifications based on business needs and system requirements. Contribute to developing detailed solution designs with solution architects and relevant teams.
• Business Process Design & Implementation: Engage in designing and implementing business processes to optimize industry and corporate workflows across multiple applications. Lead workshops to define and document process improvements and system configurations. Drive the implementation of configuration management practices throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct AS-IS analysis, define TO-BE solutions, organize deployment plans, write procedural documentation, and deliver training.
• Airplane Configuration Management: Plan and manage configuration activities, ensure consistency and accuracy across all product lifecycle stages, identify configuration elements, enforce control standards, develop baselines, manage changes, and generate status reports.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare data packages for milestones, maintain documentation, and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Implementation & Support: Lead implementation plans, resolve deployment issues, and collaborate on diagnosing and solving problems during deployment.
• Project Management: Create deployment plans, training materials, and project documentation. Track progress and coordinate stakeholder communications.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Aerospace.
• 1+ year of professional experience with major PLM systems (PTC, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, SAP-PLM).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and functional specifications.
• Expertise in configuration control, baseline creation, and change management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English, as this role involves regular interaction with English-speaking stakeholders in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry standards for configuration management.
• Bilingual in English and French.
