Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking an experienced Industrial Site Security Manager to oversee security operations at a large industrial site in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This full-time role requires leading a security team, coordinating staffing, and maintaining a high standard of safety and service for a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, investigative and reporting skills, and hands-on experience with access control, incident management, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive security leadership experience.
• Experience supervising a security team in an industrial environment.
• Ability to manage investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of security professionals across shifts.
• Staff scheduling and ensuring trained, qualified guards are deployed.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Conduct QA inspections of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and posts.
• Ensure incidents and site events are properly reported and investigated.
• Manage access control, post orders, and emergency response procedures.
• Prepare regular operational reports for client representatives.
• Support employee development and succession planning.
