As an Industrial Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in an industrial environment

Responsibilities for an industrial Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct interior and exterior patrol the site, lock and unlock buildings, and investigate and report any incidents or hazards.
• Assist site staff and visitors to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Perform environmental checks, including monitoring for water leaks, excessive airflow, and unusual noises.
• Respond to emergency situations following GardaWorld protocols.
• Remove snow during winter months and inform the client if any exits are blocked.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Qualifications for Industrial Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Holds Valid Manitoba Security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to the site as the site does not have good bus service
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
