Job summary
Motion Industries seeks an Industrial & Safety Specialist to provide product expertise and technical support for PPE, industrial tools, gas detection, and fall-protection solutions within an MRO environment. You will assess hazards, recommend appropriate products, and support proper selection and use of safety equipment.
The role emphasizes partnering with sales teams and end users to drive growth, conduct training, and maintain awareness of safety standards while delivering strong customer
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial distribution, MRO, EHS, safety, manufacturing, construction, utilities or related environments.
- Strong ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Solid customer-service, consultative-selling and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject-matter expert for industrial and safety products, applications and solutions.
- Assess customer environments to identify suitable products and equipment.
- Conduct product demonstrations, safety meetings and end-user education as appropriate.
- Partner with account representatives to identify growth opportunities and safety programs.
- Document customer activity, recommendations and follow-up actions.
