MacLean Engineering is seeking a skilled Painter for weekend shifts in Owen Sound, Ontario. The role involves operating an industrial paint booth and spray equipment to apply primers and coatings to various components.

You will mask, mix paints, and finish surfaces, while maintaining safety and equipment about daily operations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related industrial painting experience and at least a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion.
• Three to five (3-5) years of related industrial/manufacturing and/or auto collision paint experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain an industrial paint booth and spray equipment to apply paint, enamel lacquer, and other coatings.
• Prepare surfaces, mask areas, and mix paints per specifications.
• Apply primer and multi-part coatings using spray guns and brushes.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain spray equipment and booths; follow safety standards.
• Maintain records using PC-based software and collaborate with other departments.
