Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks Canada Packaged Boiler Systems in Stratford, ON is hiring an Industrial Painter/Shipper on the day shift (7:00am to 3:30pm, Mon–Fri). You will wash, tape, prepare and paint products to specification, move equipment with a crane, and manage material handling and inventory alongside the production team.

The role requires 1–2 years of industrial painting experience and ability to operate spray equipment, cranes, forklifts, and basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of industrial painting experience.
  • Experience with spray painting equipment.
  • Overhead crane operation experience.
  • Forklift operation certification or ability to certify.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Ability to use computers for basic tasks.
  • Commitment to safety.

Job description

Cleaver-Brooks Canada Packaged Boiler Systems, a leading manufacturer of boilers and energy recovery systems, has an immediate opening for a Industrial Painter/Shipper on the day shift, which runs 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, at their facility located at 161 Lorne Avenue, West, Stratford, Ontario, Canada.

Hourly rate: $31.81/hr.
Job Location: Stratford, ON
Basic Function:

The successful applicant will be required to wash, tape, prepare and paint all product to specification, perform in the shipping function plus other related activities as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Prepare and paint all products in accordance to work instructions
  • Operating crane to move equipment into position
  • Follow schedules and input received from Supervisor in order to maintain production levels
  • Perform assigned material handling, inventory tracking and maintenance of equipment
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years experience painting in an industrial manufacturing setting
  • Able to operate paint spraying equipment
  • Experience and ability to operate an overhead crane
  • Experience and ability to drive a forklift (will certify internally)
  • Experience and ability to use various hand tools
  • Ability to maintain equipment, tools and facility in good order
  • Able to perform necessary computer functions
  • Ability to work well with other employees and actively participate in employee involvement activities and problem solving
  • Fully promote safety at all times
