Who You Are:

We are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team at our Calgary Shop, located at 8700 Venture Ave SE. The ideal candidate will be a safety-focused professional with proven experience in applying industrial coatings. A valid CSTS-09/2020 or Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification is required, along with a demonstrated commitment to upholding a safe and compliant work environment.

What We’re Looking For From You – If This Describes You, We’d Love To Meet!

  • 3+ years experience applying industrial coatings
  • 2+ years experience blasting
  • CSTS-09/2020 or Energy Safety Canada Common Safety Orientation (CSO) ticket is mandatory
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Experience completing Field Level Hazard Assessments
  • The ability to use tools & equipment safely and abide by the health and safety rules
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders

Responsibilities:

  • Blasting and Painting of Piping Products, Structural Skids, Pressure Vessels
  • Masking
  • Touch-up painting
  • Setting up material to be painted on carts and frames
  • De-masking and packaging for delivery

Working Conditions:

  • You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present
  • Outside/inside work
  • Physically demanding position
