Job summary

Durabac Inc. is seeking an on-site metal coating technician to operate electroplating and spray painting equipment, prepare metallizing solutions, and apply decorative coatings to metal parts.

The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to GMP. Candidates should have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, secondary school completion or equivalent, and be able to work at the physical location in Saint-Casimir, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Clean work area.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Operate and control electroplating and galvanizing equipment, and spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts.
• Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products.
• Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications.
• Select appropriate paint or mix paints.
• Tend automatic metal coating machines and related processes.
• Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for coatings.
• Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
